Restaurants & hotels — one vendor for fire, video & access
Hospitality is one of our largest verticals. Fireside Security designs, installs, and monitors fire alarm with kitchen hood integration, POS-linked loss-prevention video, and multi-site access control for restaurants, restaurant groups, hotels, and mixed-use hospitality portfolios across California — under one licensed C-10 contractor with 24/7 UL-Listed monitoring.
Restaurants and hotels fail annual inspections for the same handful of reasons: hood systems and fire panels are wired by different contractors and never actually talk, cameras are pointed at the dining room instead of the register, and access to the back-of-house is still a shared code taped inside a cabinet. We fix the whole stack — one designer, one installer, one service number.

Frequently asked questions
Do you integrate kitchen hood suppression with the fire alarm?
Yes. Our C-10 technicians tie the UL 300 hood suppression system into the fire alarm control panel so a hood discharge automatically shuts down gas and appliance power, initiates evacuation notification, and transmits a supervised signal to our UL-Listed central station for dispatch.
Can cameras be linked to the point-of-sale system?
Yes. We deploy IP video with POS overlay on every register so every void, refund, discount, and cash-drawer event is timestamped against the register-facing camera feed. Managers search by transaction, employee, or exception in seconds.
How do you handle multi-site restaurant groups?
One cloud dashboard covers every location — access, video, fire, and burglar events roll up under a single account. Credentials, schedules, and user roles are managed centrally, and new locations are onboarded from the same template so systems stay consistent across the portfolio. For franchise and fast-casual footprints, see our QSR & fast-casual program.
Do you service hotels and mixed-use hospitality?
Yes — full-service and boutique hotels, and mixed-use with restaurant, retail, and residential components. See our dedicated hotels & lodging program for details, which includes annual fire alarm inspections, sleeping-area audibility (SF pillow test) where required, guestroom access, and back-of-house video. For late-hour venues like nightclubs, breweries, and tasting rooms, see bars & nightlife.
Can you install without shutting down service?
Yes. Work is sequenced after-hours or during dark days, with temporary supervision in place so the space is never left unprotected and never closed during peak service.
What certifications and licensing do your technicians hold?
Fireside Security is a licensed California C-10 electrical contractor with NICET-certified fire alarm technicians and factory-trained hood, access control, and video installers. Every hospitality install is stamped and inspected against NFPA 72, NFPA 96, and the California Fire Code.
