The DMP fire panel
The DMP XR150 and XR550 are listed commercial fire alarm control panels under UL 864 9th edition and listed burglary panels under UL 1610 — in the same enclosure. That combination is the reason we specify DMP on so many commercial projects: one panel, one keypad, one communicator, and one monitoring account instead of two separate systems fighting over the same building.

- XR550 Series — up to 574 zones, UL 864 9th ed. commercial fire plus UL 1610 burglary in one enclosure
- XR150 Series — up to 194 zones for mid-size commercial fire and burg
- Built-in dual-path IP + LTE-M reporting with dual SIM (AT&T and Verizon)
- 128-bit AES encrypted signaling with 200-second supervision
- Up to 32 partitions — one panel can cover tenants, floors, or buildings
- 1100-Series 900 MHz two-way encrypted wireless devices for hard-to-wire areas
- Entré access control and video integration on the same platform
- Virtual Keypad app and Dealer Admin cloud programming for remote changes
- Designed and built in Springfield, Missouri — 100% American made
What an authorized dealer changes
Being an authorized DMP dealer is not a logo on a page. It means our technicians are factory-trained on the platform, we hold panel and device stock for maintained accounts, and we program through Dealer Admin so most changes — user codes, schedules, firmware, zone edits — happen remotely instead of on a truck roll. Most importantly, DMP panels we monitor report over encrypted LTE-M straight into the DMP SCS-1R receiver at our UL-Listed central station, with no third-party translator in the signal path.
- Factory-trained technicians on the XR150 / XR550 combination fire and burg platform
- UL 864 fire submittals, battery and voltage-drop calcs, and AHJ acceptance testing in-house
- Signals land natively on the DMP SCS-1R receiver at our UL-Listed central station — no third-party translation
- Stocked XR-Series boards, 1100-Series devices, and 7800-Series / CellCom radios for maintained accounts
- Remote programming and firmware through Dealer Admin — most changes without a truck roll
- C-10 licensed statewide: CSLB #978023 · ACO #7133 · UL UUFX S36457
POTS retirement on any panel
If you are not ready to replace a panel, DMP still solves the copper problem. DMP CellCom SL / EX and 7800-Series universal communicators add dual-path IP + LTE-M reporting to virtually any UL-Listed fire or burglary panel — Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Honeywell, DSC, Bosch — by capturing the existing dialer output. That retires the phone lines without touching the fire alarm system your AHJ already accepted.
Where we install DMP
Statewide. Offices in Santa Fe Springs, Hayward, San Mateo, and Sacramento cover Los Angeles and Orange County, the East Bay, the Peninsula and Silicon Valley, and the capital region. Common DMP deployments for us are multi-tenant office, retail chains, schools, warehouse and distribution, cannabis and high-security, and multifamily properties that need fire, burglary, and access on one account.
FAQ
DMP dealer questions
- Is Fireside Security an authorized DMP dealer?
- Yes. Fireside Security is an authorized DMP (Digital Monitoring Products) dealer. Our technicians are factory-trained on the DMP XR-Series combination fire and burglary platform, and DMP panels we install report natively to the DMP SCS-1R receiver at our UL-Listed central station.
- Is the DMP XR-Series a listed commercial fire alarm panel?
- Yes. The DMP XR150 and XR550 are UL 864 listed commercial fire alarm control panels and UL 1610 listed burglary panels in a single enclosure — one panel, one keypad, one communicator, and one monitoring account for both systems.
- Can a DMP panel replace my POTS phone lines for fire alarm monitoring?
- Yes. DMP panels support built-in dual-path IP plus LTE-M cellular reporting with dual SIM across AT&T and Verizon, which satisfies NFPA 72 off-premises signaling without copper phone lines. For existing non-DMP panels, the DMP CellCom and 7800-Series universal communicators add the same dual-path reporting without replacing the panel.
- Can one DMP panel cover fire alarm, burglary, and access control?
- That is the main reason we specify it. A single XR-Series panel handles commercial fire and burglary across up to 32 partitions and integrates with DMP Entré access control and video, so an alarm arrives with door and camera context instead of just a zone number.
- Do you service DMP systems installed by another company?
- Yes. We take over existing DMP accounts, re-point reporting to our UL-Listed central station, correct programming, and pick up inspection and testing on an NFPA 72 schedule. Send us the panel model and the current account details and we will scope the takeover.
- Where in California do you install DMP systems?
- Statewide, from offices in Santa Fe Springs, Hayward, San Mateo, and Sacramento — covering Los Angeles and Orange County, the East Bay, the Peninsula and Silicon Valley, and the Sacramento capital region.
