Regulated environments (defense, healthcare, data centers) often stay on-prem or hybrid. We size the architecture to your IT policy — never the other way around.
- Which credentials and readers do you install?
- Mobile credentials (Bluetooth/NFC), HID Signo and iCLASS Seos, Apple Wallet employee badges, Wiegand and OSDP readers, PIV/CAC for federal contractors, and biometric readers where warranted. We migrate legacy 125 kHz prox systems to encrypted 13.56 MHz or mobile without ripping out every door.
- How long does a typical multi-site rollout take?
- A 10–20 door single-site cutover is usually 2–4 weeks including cabling, head-end, and commissioning. Multi-site rollouts run in waves — we pilot one location, lock the standard, then replicate. A 40-location retail chain typically finishes in 90–120 days.
- Do you carry the required California licensing?
- Yes. Fireside Security holds California CSLB #978023 (C-10 Electrical), ACO #7133 (Alarm Company Operator through BSIS), and UL Listing UUFX S36457. Every technician is BSIS-registered. We provide certificates of insurance and license documentation with every proposal.
